Evan Petridis

Evan Petridis is the current CEO of Eta Compute. Evan has previously worked with QuayChain, Filamento, and BALLN. From April 2015 to March 2019, they served as the Executive Vice President of Engineering at Enlighted Inc, where they were responsible for the company's entire engineering team and all development and production activities for their IoT system, which included sensors, networks, cloud platforms, data science and algorithms, and SaaS applications. Under their leadership, Enlighted's installed base formed the largest Internet of Things network deployed in commercial buildings at that time.

Prior to joining Enlighted, Petridis worked as a software engineer and manager at a number of startups and tech companies. Evan has experience with a wide range of technologies, including cloud/edge platform technologies like Kafka/Storm/Cassandra, big data streaming infrastructure, real-time OS and Linux, security, networking (IP, BLE, 802.15.4), and DSP/algorithms. In their previous role at Enlighted Inc, they oversaw the development of applications like real-time location services (RTLS), space utilization for large real estate portfolios, advanced lighting control for commercial premises (office/warehouse/factory/retail/healthcare), building-intelligence-based controls for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), energy management and analytics, and web-based and mobile apps (Apple, Android).

Evan Petridis completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electronic Engineering at The University of Western Australia.
