Jeremi Wójcicki

Jeremi Wójcicki has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jeremi is currently working as a Senior Staff Engineer at Eta Compute since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Toptal from January 2021 to October 2021, where they worked on artificial intelligence and data science projects for enterprise clients.

Before Toptal, Jeremi worked as a Senior Consultant at Quasar Labs from March 2019 to October 2021, where they were responsible for developing and implementing novel technologies and executing data science projects for European companies in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Jeremi also has experience as a Founder at Entrepreneur First, a global entrepreneurial network, where they conceived and developed a cloud-powered predictive maintenance solution for manufacturing equipment. Jeremi held this role from April 2020 to August 2020.

Jeremi has a background in research as well. Jeremi worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche from November 2017 to April 2020, where they carried out research projects in the field of Industrial 4.0 and maintained relationships with industrial partners. Jeremi also served as an Early stage researcher and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at ITIA-CNR from December 2013 to October 2017, pursuing a PhD in mechanical engineering focused on energy efficiency management for vehicles and machines.

In addition, Jeremi has entrepreneurial experience as the CEO and Co-founder of Pixelent, a startup that developed technology for efficiency teleoperation of unmanned vehicles using a stereoscopic vision system and virtual reality headset. Jeremi held this role from August 2017 to February 2018.

During their early career, Jeremi worked as a Junior Development and Measurement Specialist at RCC Nova from January 2012 to November 2013, and as an Apprentice at SKK Systemy Kodow Kreskowych S.A. in July 2010.

Jeremi Wójcicki's education history is as follows:

- From 2007 to 2012, they attended AGH University of Krakow and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.

- In 2011, they also studied at the University of Central Florida, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

- From 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Automation and robotics at AGH University of Krakow.

- From 2013 to 2017, they attended Politecnico di Milano and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Energy Efficiency of Machine Tools.

- In 2015, they briefly studied at Esade, but the degree name and field of study were not provided.

In addition to their formal education, Jeremi Wójcicki has obtained various certifications, including the Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Machine Learning, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects. These certifications were obtained from Coursera in 2020.

Jeremi also holds certifications in CUDA Programming on NVIDIA GPUs from Oxford University in 2018, Management Essentials for PhDs from Politecnico di Milano in 2017, a Certified MATLAB Associate from MathWorks in 2017, and certifications in Managing Changes and Managing Conflicts from Politecnico di Milano in 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in 2010.
