Oveis Asgari

Oveis Asgari, Ph.D. is a Senior Power Software Engineer at ETAP - Operation Technology, Inc. Oveis has developed various protective relay functions and led the design and implementation of the Automated Fault Analysis System. As an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Nevada, Reno, Oveis led fire mitigation projects and evaluated HIF detection methods. Oveis has also worked as a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Research Assistant, specializing in power systems and protection methods. Oveis's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power systems, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
