Thomas Irmscher

Thomas Irmscher is a seasoned professional in the field of security testing and consulting, currently serving as Product Manager for Security Testing at ETAS since August 2023. Prior to this, Thomas held various leadership roles at ESCRYPT from November 2017 to August 2023, including Head of Engineering, Consulting, and Testing for Japan and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as Teamleiter for Security Consulting and Projektleiter for Embedded Security. Thomas's career also includes significant experience in the Bundeswehr from October 2004 to September 2017 as an IT Officer in the Airforce and a brief tenure as an Information and Communication Security Officer with NATO in late 2013. Academically, Thomas earned a Master of Science in Applied IT-Security from Ruhr University Bochum and holds a Diplom-Wirtschaftsinformatiker in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Bundeswehr University Munich.
