Garland Hawk

Garland Hawk has an extensive work experience in information technology and network administration. Garland began their career at LTCR-Data General System in 1982, where they worked as a Field Engineer and IT Manager for 15 years. Garland then became the Co-Owner and Systems IS Director at Computing Concepts/Internet Unlimited from 1997 to 2000. After that, they served as a Data Engineer III at Consolidated Communications from 2000 to 2010. Following this, Garland worked as a Network Engineer and Assistant Network Administrator at Huntington State Bank from 2010 to 2014. Garland then held the position of IT Director at CyberShield of Texas from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Garland is the Global Director of Information Technology at Etech Global Services since May 2016. Additionally, in 2016, they worked as an Enterprise Telecommunications Administrator at Enterprise Technology Solutions. Throughout their career, Garland has gained expertise in various areas such as LAN/WAN administration, server administration, and telecommunications contracts and carrier relations.

Garland Hawk attended Angelina College from 1979 to 1982, where they studied Electronic Technology. Garland then pursued a degree in Electronic/Computer Science from Data General Engineering from 1982 to 1985. In 2005, they studied VoIp at Nortel Networks. Garland also has certifications in TCP/IP Configuration from Cisco Certified Network Administration, Lan/Wan Design from Cisco Certified Design Associate, and MS-Excel and MS-Word from Global Knowledge in 2004-2005.
