Stefan Roest

Stefan Roest is an experienced Chief Technology Officer with a strong background in solar energy technology. Currently serving as CTO at Eternal Sun since October 2010, Stefan Roest focuses on enhancing the performance and reliability of solar panels through the development of precision solar simulators. Previously, from January 2016 to April 2019, Stefan Roest held the same title at Spire Solar, a manufacturer of flash sun simulators now part of Eternal Sun Group. In the earlier stage of their career, Stefan Roest led the Nuon Solar Team as team leader for Nuna 4, overseeing a project that resulted in victory at the 2007 World Solar Challenge. Stefan Roest holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology, completed between 2008 and 2011.
