Barry Maas

Barry Maas is an experienced finance professional with a strong focus on trading and portfolio management in the commodities sector. Currently serving as the Head Portfolio Manager for Soft Commodities at ETG since February 2020, Barry has developed a successful analytics and trading framework that emphasizes risk-adjusted performance metrics in Agri Commodities. Prior to ETG, Barry held the position of Senior Trader for Cocoa at Cargill from July 2013 to December 2019, contributing to one of the largest privately-owned companies globally. Barry's earlier experience includes leading equity derivatives trading at Liquid Capital Markets and IMC Financial Markets, where responsibilities included trading single stock equity options and Index options. Barry holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and received foundational education at St. Ignatius Gymnasium.
