Manu J. Nair

Manu J. Nair has held various work experiences starting as a Core Team Member and Communication Head at TEDxBMU in 2016. Manu J. was also a Research and Development Intern at Sandvik in 2018, working on a project involving steel wash failure. In the same year, they became a Student Body President at BML Munjal University and was part of the Student Council Advisory Board as well. In 2020, they joined ISRO as a Research and Development Associate and designed a Waste Management System for humans in microgravity. Manu J. progressed to Manastu Space in 2021 as Head of Strategy and Business Development, leading a project team wherein they introduced new technology offerings to the company. Manu J. held the additional post of Project Engineer. In 2019, they joined the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences (IIAS) and worked as a Scientist-Astronaut Graduate, conducting research on Atmospheric Science, Solar Mechanics, and the upper mesosphere. In 2022, they founded EtherealX, taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder.

Manu J. Nair earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from BML Munjal University between 2016 and 2020. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an Open Water Diver certification from PADI in June 2019 and a Class-3 Medical Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in July 2019. Most recently, in February 2021, Manu obtained an Advanced Open Water Diver certification from PADI.
