Michael Deshmukh has a strong background in legal and consulting roles. Michael started their career as an Editor-in-Chief at Georgetown Journal of International Affairs in 2007. Michael then worked as an Analyst at SRA International from 2008 to 2010. After that, they joined Touchstone Consulting Group as an Associate Consultant from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, they served as a Judicial Intern for Hon. Matthew F. Cooper. Michael then worked at DLA Piper from 2013 to 2018, first as a Summer Associate and later as an Associate. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Rimini Street, initially as a Corporate Counsel and then as a Senior Corporate Counsel. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President, M&A at Ethos Specialty Insurance Services LLC since 2022.
Michael Deshmukh completed their Bachelor of Science degree at Georgetown University from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at Vanderbilt University Law School from 2011 to 2014. In September 2014, they became a member of the State Bar of Illinois.
