Steve Wilkes

Steve Wilkes has a diverse work experience in the field of technology ethics. Steve currently holds the position of Community and Policy Assistant / Technology Ethics / AI Ethics at Eticas since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Humankind as a Technology Ethicist / Author / Researcher starting in September 2022. Before joining Humankind, Steve worked at NTT DATA Europe & LATAM, where they served in various roles. From December 2021 to September 2022, they worked as a Technology Ethicist, analyzing and raising awareness of Technology Ethics. From August 2019 to December 2021, they held the position of Advisor, focusing on OpCos harmonization, analyst relations, and business development activities. Steve's experience at NTT DATA also includes working as a Processes Technician from May 2018 to August 2019, where they provided knowledge management services and performed administrative tasks.

Steve Wilkes holds an Advanced Diploma in Sports Management from the International Career Institute. In addition to their diploma, they have obtained two additional certifications. One is in Data Ethics, AI, and Responsible Innovation from The University of Edinburgh, which they received in September 2021. The other certification is in Basics of Digital Government Transformation, which they obtained from The Government 3.0 Consortium in August 2021.
