Masoud al-Alawi

Masoud Al-Alawi is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in aircraft data, digital operations, and engineering program management. Currently serving as the Manager of Aircraft Data & Digital Operations at Etihad since July 2013, Masoud has previously held significant roles at Gulf Air and Oman Air, where responsibilities included managing maintenance programs and reliability, technical management, and development engineering focused on aircraft retrofits. Notably, Masoud's early career involved project engineering at Bahwan Engineering Co LLC, where contributions included managing electrical projects and supervising local talent. Masoud holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nairobi, earned between 1996 and 2001.
