Global Catering Operations & Performance at Etihad Airways

Tyzer De'Penha has over a decade of extensive experience in the airline catering industry, currently holding the role of Global Catering Operations & Performance at Etihad Airways since March 2010. Responsibilities include overseeing in-flight catering operations, performance management, and food safety and Halal audits for 24 stations, while managing an annual budget of approximately $90 million. Previously, Tyzer contributed to the inbound catering operations team as Route Catering, focusing on daily operations, inventory management, menu design support, and system management across 28 stations. Tyzer also played a significant role in the development and implementation of the AirVision in-flight system through the Menu Specifications project team. Earlier experience includes serving as Operations Manager at Atlas Media Communications from April 2003 to February 2010, where Tyzer managed the menu management program for both Etihad Airways and Emirates, acting as a key liaison between the airlines and AMC.
