Heidi Herington, MA, PMP, CPHIMS has over 10 years of experience in healthcare information technology. Heidi began their career in 2010 as Manager of Clinical Quality Systems at St. Joseph Health where they managed daily oversight of 5 analytic database applications for 14-hospital IDN supporting clinical quality, case management, utilization management, infection control, risk management and strategic analysis. Heidi also coordinated monthly submission of claims, quality and financial data for 14 hospitals to CMS. In 2012, they moved to Covenant Care as Director of Clinical Informatics where they had primary oversight of clinical documentation and medication management applications for 53 long-term care and rehab facilities including daily maintenance, issue resolution, periodic upgrades, system replacements and ongoing user education. Heidi also led the implementation of an electronic health record to 53 facilities in 7 states. In 2016, they joined Philips as an Implementation Project Manager responsible for project management, account management, and customer service for orders of bedside/central patient monitoring solutions valuing up to $12M for acute care hospitals and health systems in WA, OR and CA. In 2019, they moved to Cambia Health Solutions as an Enterprise Project Manager where they developed implementation plans for new products and services aimed at improving quality of care for members while minimizing provider abrasion. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Etiometry Inc. as Director of Implementation Services where they collaborate with hospital IT, PM and biomed teams to implement Etiometry's innovative clinical decision support software into critical care, OR and ED units nationwide. Heidi also created a transparent, reliable and customizable project management process with supporting artifacts that helps customers easily visualize and understand the implementation process.

Heidi Herington, MA, PMP, CPHIMS has an education history that includes a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Chapman University, a B.A. in General Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, and Project Management training from UC Irvine. Heidi also holds certifications from VMEdu Inc. as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), from St. Joseph Health System as a Green Belt in LEAN Methodologies, from AXELOS Global Best Practice as ITIL Foundations V4, from HIMSS – Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society as CPHIMS – Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems, and from PMI – Project Management Institute as PMP – Project Management Professional.
