Nasser Abayed

Nasser Abayed is an experienced telecommunications professional currently serving as Vice President of Business Demand Requirements at e& UAE since September 2024. Prior to this role, Nasser was the CEO of UT Technology and Vice President of Digital Technology at UT Technology, Etisalat, from December 2020 to September 2024. Nasser's extensive tenure at Etisalat, from June 2010 to September 2024, included positions as Vice President of Digital Business Solutions, overseeing various sectors such as SMB and Enterprise Solutions, and Senior Director roles in Devices, Smart Home Solutions, Fixed Access Network Design, and Customer Devices. Nasser also held the position of Director of Smart Solutions at Ubiquitous Telecommunications Technology from January 2006 to January 2010 and was the RAK Earth Station Manager at Etisalat from January 2003 to September 2005. Nasser holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the Etisalat College of Engineering, completed between 1995 and 2000, after graduating from Al Oroobah Secondary School in 1995.
