Business Development Latin America at Etiya

Raul Canello has a diverse work experience in the telecom industry, spanning over several roles and companies. Raul began their career at Eastel S.A.I.C. in 1992 as an Engineering Manager. In 1998, they worked as a Sales Engineer at Diveo Argentina, where they designed microwave and fiber optic networks. Raul then joined Marconi as a Sales Engineer, before moving to Huawei as a Sales Account Manager in 2004.

In 2006, Raul joined ZTE Corporation as a Sales Director Key Account, responsible for generating new business and starting operations in Argentina. Raul played a crucial role in increasing sales quota and managing the sales and operations of various telecom products. Raul then worked as a Sales Manager at Amper, S.A., where they integrated multiple vendors' solutions for Tier 1 Carriers and Telecom Operators in Argentina.

In 2013, Raul joined AwareX, Inc. as a Client Sales Manager, where they developed new business across Latin America. Raul held various roles with increasing responsibility, including contractor, sales consultant, and project manager. During this period, Raul was involved in business intelligence, product evolution, contract management, and implementing solutions tailored to meet customer needs.

In 2017, Raul became a Senior Business Consultant at ICT Telecom Self Entrepreneur, focusing on Latin America. And in 2018, they joined Etiya as a Business Development Manager for Latin America. Etiya is a leading software company in Europe, providing customized package solutions for telecom and non-telecom markets.

Throughout their career, Raul Canello has demonstrated strong business development and sales skills, along with a deep understanding of the telecom industry and the Latin American market.

Raul Canello's education history begins in 1982 when they attended the Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Raul studied Electronic Engineering, with a focus on Telecommunications, and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991.

In 2011, Raul attended IT College and completed a program to become a CISCO Sales Expert, specializing in VideoConference ATP. This allowed him to develop expertise in IT and CISCO sales.

In 2012, Raul obtained another certification, this time from CISCO, in CMTS (Cable Modem Termination System) and Internet.

Raul continued their education in 2014 by completing a training course in CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), which is related to Information Technology.

In 2015 and 2016, Raul attended Mobile App, MobileAware Training, where they studied Sales specifically in the field of mCare MobileAware.

Raul's most recent educational experience was in 2018 when they received training from Etiya in Business Intelligence based on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Additionally, Raul obtained two certifications outside of formal education. In 2012, they became a Cisco SCE (Service Control Engine) through IT College. In 2021, they completed a Business Development: Strategic Planning course through LinkedIn and obtained a certification in the same field.
