Andrew Wheatley started their work experience as an Electronics Engineer at Micross Electronics Ltd in 1986. Andrew was involved in system, hardware, and software design, working directly with end customers. In 2003, they joined ETL Systems as a Principal Design Engineer, leading in-house software development and managing a team of engineer/programmers. Andrew later became the Deputy Chief Engineer and then the Head of Systems Engineering, where they added system design to their customer support role. In 2017, they became the Head of Systems, Installation, Commissioning & Support at ETL Systems. And most recently, they serve as the Assistant Director of Systems, Installation, Commissioning, and Support, overseeing the customer support team and providing face-to-face support, training, and commissioning services.
Andrew Wheatley completed their education in a chronological order. Andrew attended Dorcan School from 1975 to 1980, where they obtained their GCE 'O' Levels. Following that, they went to Hereford Cathedral School from 1980 to 1982, where they completed their GCE 'A' Levels. Andrew then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Plymouth, graduating in 1986. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Level 5 Award in Management from the Institute of Leadership & Management in February 2015.
