Etlaq Spaceport, launched by Oman's NASCOM in 2022, capitalizes on the unique geography of Wilayat Al Duqm, strategically positioning Oman in the global space sector. NASCOM, a key player in Oman's space industry, prioritizes national capacity building and international partnerships. Etlaq aims to be a comprehensive space launch complex with three launch pads, catering to global companies for diverse orbits. This project aligns with Oman's commitment to advancing its space capabilities. NASCOM plans to unveil Etlaq's master plan at the January 2024 Middle East Space Conference in Muscat, showcasing Oman's advancements in space technology and collaboration on a global scale.
