Daniel Högerl

Daniel Homer is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity, particularly in blockchain and smart contract auditing. Currently serving as a Security Engineer III at Akuna Capital since October 2023, Daniel previously held the position of Security Engineer II at the same company. Prior experience includes working as a Blockchain Security Engineer at Coinbase, where responsibilities involved digital asset and protocol security, on-chain monitoring, and incident response. Daniel also served as an Assistant Instructor in Cybersecurity at the University of Toronto and worked as a Security Analyst focusing on cybersecurity architecture and risk management at Hydro One. Earlier roles included various security engineering positions at EWA-Canada. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Computer Science with a focus on Computer and Internet Security and a minor in Philosophy from Carleton University.
