Tom Day

Tom Day is an experienced educator and academic specializing in English literature. Currently serving as Master-in-College at Eton College since August 2016, Tom oversees the 70 King's Scholars while also functioning as a Teacher of English and Director of Universities. Previous roles include a Research Fellow in English Literature at the University of Hertfordshire and Head of English at Haileybury UK. Tom's extensive teaching background spans multiple institutions, including senior positions at the University of Central Lancashire and Glyndŵr University. Tom holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English Literature from the University of Warwick, alongside a Master's degree from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Warwick. Tom's foundational education was completed at St. Olave's Grammar School.
