Erin Baskett

Erin Baskett earned her Master’s in Accounting from Lindenwood University and her B.S. in Business from the University of Missouri. She began her professional career in the back office of A.G. Edwards where she assisted in the broker dealer operations, insurance, and annuity department. She later worked in a full-service certified public accounting and audit firm, during which time she obtained her certification as a CPA and managed numerous client engagements. In 2010, she joined Smith, Moore & Co (dually registered and self clearing Broker Dealer and Registered Investment Advisory firm) where she became licensed as an advisor and held the titles of CFO, Director of H.R., and Internal Audit congruently until receiving the opportunity in August of 2012 to create Autonomous Research US LP. At Autonomous Research, she managed the Investment Research broker dealer with an international presence, providing research coverage of all main US, Asian, and European financial institutions; as well as offering execution services with offices in New York, London, and Hong Kong. At the start of 2019, she created her own consulting practice to support broker dealers and investment advisors across finance, operations, compliance, etc.
