Keith Writer

Keith Writer is an experienced professional in the tea and coffee industries, currently serving as Director and Interim Chair for the Ethical Tea Partnership since November 2020. With a long tenure at Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate beginning in January 2000, Keith holds multiple roles including Pension Trustee and Supply Director, with a strong focus on long-term strategy and responsible sourcing. Previously, Keith contributed to World Coffee Research as a Board Member and Chair of the Development Committee since March 2016 and served as a School Governor for North Yorkshire Council. Other past roles include various leadership positions in the Ethical Tea Partnership, UK Tea & Infusions Association, and Twinings. Keith holds a BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Economics from Newcastle University, completed in 1993.
