Jorrit Nijholt

Jorrit Nijholt has a diverse work experience starting from 2006 as a Floor Manager at Albert Heijn. Jorrit then worked as a Coordinator Energy Delta Convention and a Member of the promotion committee for staff faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Jorrit also served as a Student Assistant for several Physics courses and as a Student member of the Faculty Council in the same institution.

In 2012, Nijholt joined Energy Academy Europe as a Student Assistant and later became a Project Coordinator responsible for setting up the learning activities.

Jorrit then worked at B&N Consulting as a Co-founder in 2014 and at DNV GL in 2015 as an Intern Smart Energy. During the same year, Nijholt also owned and operated Nijholt Energy Consulting.

In 2016, they joined TenneT as a Young Professional and then became the Head of IT ETPA. Nijholt also held the position of Head of IT at ETPA - A new way of power trading, which is a trade platform for short-term electricity trades.

Currently, Nijholt serves as the CTO at ETPA - A new way of power trading.

Jorrit Nijholt completed their bachelor's degree in Applied Physics at the University of Groningen from 2008 to 2012. Jorrit then went on to pursue further education at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen / University of Groningen, where they achieved an Ingenieur (Ir.) degree in Applied Physics from 2012 to 2015.
