Kate Breiter Uslan

Kate Breiter Uslan has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Project Director at ETR since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Logistics and Marketing Specialist at ETR from May 2020 to April 2023. Kate was also involved in the music industry as a Co-Producer of The Carolina Shout Podcast at UslanMusic.com since November 2016. From 2014 to 2020, Kate worked as a self-employed Health and Communications Consultant. Kate'sprevious experience includes working as a Marketing and Communications Specialist at Alliance for a Healthier Generation from December 2007 to May 2014, as a Tobacco Control Coordinator at Mecklenburg County Health Department from September 2004 to December 2007, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota and the Tobacco Law Center. Kate also served as a Medicaid Advocate at Indiana Legal Services, Inc. from September 2001 to August 2002.

Kate Breiter Uslan has a strong educational background in both Public Health and Political Science. Kate obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington from 1996 to 2000. Later, they pursued further education at the University of Minnesota, where they earned a Master of Public Health degree from 2002 to 2004, specializing in Public Health. In addition to their formal education, Kate also obtained a Reporting and Writing Certificate from The Poynter Institute for Media Studies in May 2013.
