Hyoung Jun Kim

Hyoung Jun Kim is a Principal Researcher at ETRI, where contributions span over three decades since February 1988, encompassing roles such as Research Fellow, SVP of the Intelligent Convergence Research Lab, and VP of the Planning Division, with a focus on M2M/IoT, RFID/USN, and Future Networks research and standardization. Additionally, since October 2022, Hyoung Jun Kim serves as Assistant VP and Section Head/Team Leader in ITU's SG20, which concentrates on IoT, digital twins, and sustainable smart cities. Leadership roles include Chair positions at the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity and the National Science and Technology Research Council’s Convergence Research Committee, as well as committee member at the National Science and Technology Advisory Council. Hyoung Jun Kim also held an adjunct professor position at UST in the Department of Broadband Network Engineering from September 2009 to March 2020.
