Hyun-Do Jung

Senior Researcher at ETRI

Hyun-Do Jung is a Senior Researcher at ETRI since August 2014, specializing in 400G Optical Coherent Systems, Optical Access Networks, and Analog/Digitized Radio-over-Fiber Systems. Prior to this role, Hyun-Do held a Senior Researcher position at Bell Labs from November 2010 to April 2014, focusing on optical communication technologies within Alcatel-Lucent's Seoul division. From October 2005 to September 2010, Hyun-Do contributed as a Senior Researcher at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, working on various areas including Radio-over-Fiber systems and Optical Networks. Additionally, Hyun-Do completed a Post Doctoral Researcher role in the FP6 EU-Project 'MUFINS,' developing Optical Packet Switching Networks and Optical Vortex Networks. Hyun-Do earned a Ph.D. in Electric & Electronics Engineering from Yonsei University in 2005.
