Jang Sik Choi

Jang Sik Choi has extensive experience in intellectual property management and licensing, currently serving as the Director of the IP Business Team at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) since January 2010. Jang Sik Choi oversees IP licensing and manages standard essential patent portfolios, with a focus on ICT technologies such as HEVC and DASH. Previous roles include Senior Patent Attorney at EZ International Patent & Trademark Law Office, where expertise was applied to both domestic and international patent cases in ICT, and Associate Patent Attorney at SHINSUNG International Patent and Law Firm, specializing in mobile communications and related technologies. Earlier career experience includes planning national HFC networks at LG Powercomm and working in information system planning at Korea Electric Power Corporation.
