Charley Nelson

Charley Nelson is a seasoned professional with expertise in environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility, currently serving as the Manager of ESG and Impact Reporting at Etsy since April 2021. Prior experience includes roles at International Flavors & Fragrances as an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, where Charley managed the integration of sustainability practices following a major acquisition and engaged suppliers on ESG performance. Additional experiences encompass positions at Tesla, where Charley enhanced customer understanding of electric vehicles and renewable energy, as well as internships at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection and North Jersey Resource Conservation and Development Council, focusing on solar energy viability and community environmental education. Charley holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environmental Management from Montclair State University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behavior from Rutgers University.
