Chirag Patel

Chirag Patel currently serves as the VP and GM of Payments and Risk at Etsy, overseeing global initiatives in these areas since July 2023. In addition, Chirag holds the position of Fintech Advisor at Picus Capital, offering specialized industry insights. Prior to these roles, Chirag was President of Digital Wallets at Paysafe Group, where responsibilities included driving growth across various digital wallets and financial solutions. Experience also includes positions at Banco Santander, where Chirag was EVP Global Head of Payments, as well as key board memberships at Superdigital and PagoFX. Earlier roles at Amazon and Softcard involved leadership in payment solutions and bank relationships. Chirag Patel earned a degree from King's College London between 1992 and 1995.
