Julie Beckley

Julie Novak Beckley is an experienced leader in data science and experimentation, currently serving as Head of Experimentation at Etsy, where responsibilities include overseeing a team focused on enhancing experimentation infrastructure and methods. Prior to Etsy, Julie held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Netflix, contributing to the enhancement of statistical methodologies for streaming experimentation. At IBM, significant contributions included building statistical models for revenue forecasting and instructing a machine learning course. Julie also served as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, teaching machine learning to advanced students. Julie holds a PhD in Statistics from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Honors Mathematics from McGill University.
