Margaret M. Smyth

Margaret M. "Peggy" Smyth joined the Etsy Board in June 2016. She has been the U.S. chief financial officer of National Grid, one of the world’s largest publicly-listed utility companies, since 2014. Previously, Peggy served as Vice President of Finance at Con Edison, Vice President and CFO at Hamilton Sundstrand, and Vice President and Corporate Controller for United Technologies Corp. Earlier in her career, Peggy served as the Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of 3M and in senior leadership roles at Deloitte & Touche and at Arthur Andersen.
