Roberto Castillo

Roberto Castillo is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and commercial law. Currently serving as Senior Director and Associate General Counsel at Etsy since March 2021, Roberto has held multiple roles within the company, progressively advancing from Director I to Senior Director. Prior to Etsy, Roberto worked at KIND from October 2015 to March 2021, where positions included Director and Senior Manager of Corporate Counsel. Roberto's legal career began at Jones Day, focusing on antitrust matters from October 2012 to October 2015. Additionally, an internship in the Office of the Prosecutor at the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in 2010 provided valuable experience in international law. Roberto holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Economics from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
