Roy Wijnen

Roy Wijnen has a diverse work experience starting in 2002 as a Linguistic Engineer at Bowne Global Solutions. Roy then joined Etteplan in 2005 and held various roles such as Technical Writer & Translation Coordinator, Product Manager, Trainer & Technical Writer, and currently serves as the Project Manager, Team Lead & Language Specialist.

Roy Wijnen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese from Kyoto University in 1997. From 1994 to 1999, they studied Oriental Languages & Communication (Japanese) at Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, earning another Bachelor of Arts degree. Roy further pursued education in Information Technology, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in 2002. In addition to their formal education, Roy Wijnen has obtained certifications in Knowledge Engineering, Semantic Integration, and Semantic Web Training from the Semantic Web Company (SWC) in 2022.
