Kalle K. has extensive experience in information technology and project management, currently serving as an Information Technology Officer at eu-LISA since October 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing the operational management of key EU IT systems related to asylum and migration policies. Prior roles include Problem Manager at eu-LISA, Project Manager at the Ministry of Finance and the Centre of Registers and Information Systems, IT Manager at FLEXA Furniture, Project Manager at Bang & Olufsen and SEB IT, and Project Manager/Team Lead at Accenture Technology Solutions. Kalle K.'s technical expertise was further developed as a Technical Consultant at Hewlett Packard. Kalle K. holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, with education completed between 1994 and 2003.

This is the official company page for the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (eu-LISA). eu-LISA was established to manage large-scale information systems in the area of freedom, security and justice. It fulfils the operational management tasks for Eurodac, the Schengen Information System (SIS II) and the Visa Information System (VIS). The Agency thus supports the implementation of the EU's border management, asylum and migration policies. eu-LISA has also been entrusted with the preparation, development and operational management of the European Entry-Exit System (EES), the European Travel Information and Authorisation Systems (ETIAS) as well as the European Criminal Records Information System - Third Country Nationals (ECRIS-TCN) and ensure that both these and the already existing systems are interoperable. eu-LISA is responsible for keeping all the IT systems under its control permanently functional in order to allow continuous and uninterrupted exchange of data between national authorities.
