Michael Rea

Michael Rea currently serves as the Public Information Program Coordinator at the Eugene Police Department since August 2022. Prior to this role, Michael worked at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication from May 2018 to September 2022 as a Videographer, where responsibilities included filming, photographing, editing video and photos, and creating tailored content for clients. Michael also has extensive experience from April 2013 to June 2018 at KDRV NewsWatch 12, where roles included Creative Services Producer, responsible for producing commercial content, and Technical Media Producer, focusing on directing newscasts and video editing. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Art/Art Studies from Southern Oregon University, earned between 2008 and 2013.
