Rick L. has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving in the Special Investigations Unit at the Eugene Police Department since January 2002. Responsibilities include investigating bias and gang-related crimes, human trafficking, drug-related deaths, and conducting surveillance. Rick also assists in training officers and collaborates with community groups. Prior roles include serving as a Police Background Investigator, Property Crimes Detective, and Narcotics/Vice Detective. Rick's earlier career includes work with the Alaska State Troopers, focusing on Fish and Wildlife Protection. Educational qualifications include graduation from the ALET police academy and marine law enforcement training from FLETC.
