Don Northey

Don Northey has a diverse range of work experience in software development engineering. Don started their career at moore technologies, where they worked as a System Design Engineer II and gained experience in designing and developing real-time embedded control software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Don also developed multi-threaded software applications and graphical user interface components.

Following this, Don joined ADAC Laboratories as a Software Engineer, where they designed and developed real-time software for nuclear imaging equipment. Don collaborated with hardware engineers to formulate software requirement specifications and enhanced the existing code base to support hardware modifications and upgrades.

Don later joined Blue29 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on developing and testing software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Don designed and developed software for electroless deposition equipment and implemented various agents as interfaces between the graphical user interface and IO subsystem. Don also contributed to enhancing the existing code base to accommodate hardware modifications and upgrades.

After Blue29, Don joined Solyndra as a Member of Technical Staff and developed software for vacuum sputter deposition equipment used in solar panel production. Don implemented generic pump down and vent service routines to facilitate maintenance and prevent hardware sequencing issues. Don also implemented fault monitoring using regular expressions for easy expansion and modification.

Don's most recent position was at AIXTRON AG, where they worked as a Staff Software Engineer. Don gained extensive experience in software development for the company and held this role for six years.

Don's current role is at Eugenus, Inc., where they started as a Staff Software Engineer and was promoted to Senior Staff Software Development Engineer. The dates for this position are not provided, but it can be inferred that Don has been working at Eugenus, Inc. since 2017.
