John Cohoon

John Cohoon is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and project management. Notable roles include Principal Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Piper Sandler from December 2015 to March 2023, as well as Co-Founder and CTO of Elevate Research, where John played a key role in developing solutions for small to mid-size restaurant and retail operators. Previous positions include Developer Analyst (Lead) at Maritz Research, Application Architect and Senior SQL Developer/DBA at Questar Data Systems, and Pro Bono Developer at Kids Voting Minneapolis. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Minnesota School of Business and a diploma in Computer Programming from Brown College.
