Eduardas Andrekus

Eduardas Andrekus has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Eduardas began their career at UAB Proginta in 2001 as a Developer before moving on to Interlogika in 2005 for a Developer role. In 2006, they joined Tamro as a Developer and worked until 2008. Eduardas then transitioned to Hewlett-Packard as a System Administrator from 2008 to 2009 and later as an ITO Service Delivery Consultant from 2009 to 2015. Most recently, Eduardas has been working at EUMETSAT since 2015, initially as an AIX/Linux Engineer and now as a Computer Systems Architecture Engineer.

Eduardas Andrekus earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Kaunas University of Technology, where they studied from 1999 to 2005. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained several certifications, including AIS - HP BladeSystem Solutions in 2011, IBM Certified System Administrator - AIX 6.1 Administration in 2010, IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - Power Systems with AIX in 2010, IBM Certified Specialist - High-End Disk for Open Systems Version 1 in 2010, CSA - HP-UX 11i v3 in 2010, IBM Certified Systems Expert - Virtualization Technical Support for AIX and Linux in 2009, IBM Certified Systems Expert - Enterprise Technical Support for AIX and Linux in 2009, IBM Certified Specialist – System p Administration in 2009, and ITIL – Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in 2008.
