Eng. Mohammed A.

Eng. Mohammed A. possesses extensive experience in spacecraft operations and engineering, currently serving as the MTG-I1 Spacecraft and Ground Operations Controller at EUMETSAT since June 2022. Prior roles include serving as the CLUSTER 2 Spacecraft Operations Controller at the European Space Agency from May 2021 to June 2022 and as the MSG Spacecraft and Ground Operations Controller at EUMETSAT from September 2017 to May 2021. Eng. Mohammed A. began their career as a Spacecraft Project Engineer at the Algerian Space Agency, contributing to the ALCOMSAT-1 GEO Telecommunications Spacecraft from August 2015 to September 2017. Academically, Eng. Mohammed A. earned a Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering in June 2013 and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in June 2011, both from Université Djillali Liabes in Sidi Bel Abbès.
