Additional Data Services And Ground Stations Engineer at EUMETSAT

Karolina Nikolova has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Karolina started their career as an Aircraft Propulsion Engineer at GE Aerospace in 2014. In 2016, they worked as a Modelling and Simulation Engineer at DLR's Institute of System Dynamics and Control. Later that year, they joined Thales Alenia Space as a Space Systems Engineer. In 2018, they moved to EUMETSAT, where they initially worked as a Junior Additional Data Services and Ground Stations Engineer before being promoted to the role of Additional Data Services and Ground Stations Engineer in October 2020.

Karolina Nikolova began their education journey at the High School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Burgas, Bulgaria from 2005 to 2012. Karolina focused on Mathematics, Physics, and English Language during their secondary education. After completing high school, Karolina went on to attend the University of Bath from 2012 to 2018. There, they pursued an MEng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering degree with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. During their time at the university, Karolina also participated in a 5-year sandwich program. Currently, Karolina is enrolled at the Software University (SoftUni), where they are studying Full Stack Web development (Python). Karolina has been pursuing this degree since 2020, and their studies are still ongoing.
