Kim Veenstra

Kim Veenstra, CPA, CA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Starting in 2007, Kim worked as an Indirect Tax Specialist at KPMG until 2010. After that, from 2010 to 2011, they served as a Senior Accountant at the same company.

In 2012, Kim joined Shaw Communications as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, where they were responsible for financial analysis and reporting. Kim worked there until 2014.

From 2014 to 2016, Kim worked at Secure Energy Services Inc., where they held two roles: Senior Financial Analyst and later Operations Controller - IFS. In these positions, they managed financial operations and reporting, developed accounting policies, and maintained key performance indicators.

In 2016, Kim joined Miovision as a Controller, overseeing financial activities until 2017.

From 2017 to 2023, Kim worked at Bonfire Interactive, holding multiple roles including Director of Finance, Vice President of Finance, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.

In 2023, Kim transitioned to Euna Solutions (formerly GTY Technology) as the VP of FP&A and Strategic Planning.

Kim Veenstra, CPA, CA completed their Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued their Chartered Accountant Designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario between 2008 and 2011.
