Daniele Vettorato is a seasoned professional in urban and regional planning, currently serving as a Board Member of ISOCARP since October 2011 and coordinating the Young Planning Professionals Programme. Daniele has significant experience with various projects such as the conceptual design of the Wuhan High-Speed Railway Station Area and managing the recharge.green project that focuses on balancing renewable energy use in the Alps. At EURAC Research, Daniele leads the Urban and Regional Energy Systems research group, focusing on sustainable urban planning and energy strategies. In addition, Daniele contributes to the International Energy Agency's Task 51, which aims to integrate solar energy solutions into urban environments. Daniele's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Università di Trento and advanced degrees in Urban and Regional Planning from Università Iuav di Venezia.
