Giuseppe De Michele is a Senior Researcher at Eurac Research since May 2014, specializing in building physics and façade technology with a focus on daylighting utilization, visual and thermal comfort, and energy efficiency in sustainable buildings. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Student, where Giuseppe engaged in parametric analysis, optimization, and shading control strategies development. An internship involved creating a feature for daylighting simulations within the TRNSYS energy simulation tool. Giuseppe gained international experience as a Visiting PhD Student at Berkeley Lab, working on complex fenestration systems. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Sustainable Energy and Technologies from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, a Master's degree in Environmental/Energy Engineering from Università di Trento, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental and Territorial Engineering from Università degli Studi di Perugia.
