Jakob Volgger

Jakob Volgger is a Junior Researcher at Eurac Research since April 2022. Previously, Jakob worked as a Teacher for the Südtiroler Landesverwaltung, focusing on inclusion-oriented teaching for pupils with special needs. Other experience includes serving as an European Solidarity Corps Volunteer at People Know How, where Jakob supported marginalized groups and conducted digital inclusion projects, and working as a Volunteer Refugee Worker for Caritas Diözese Bozen-Brixen, assisting refugees with housing and administrative processes. Jakob has also gained communication experience through freelance roles at the European Parliament, and an internship in communication and marketing at Zirkonzahn Worldwide. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Social Work, Social Policy and Management from MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Universität Innsbruck.
