Rachel Turner is an experienced researcher currently with EURAC Research since May 2016, focusing on applied physiology. Prior to this role, Rachel served as Project Manager for the National Altitude Training Centre from October 2011 to November 2014, where responsibilities included developing research and support structures for the NATC project under the supervision of Prof. Ann MacPhail. Rachel's career began as an Altitude Performance Specialist at The Altitude Centre, where the role involved program design and management for exercise rehabilitation and working with elite athletes across various sports. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Altitude Physiology and Performance (incomplete) from London South Bank University, a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Sports Performance and Physiology, and a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Science, both from the University of Birmingham.
