Alexis Serfaty has a diverse work experience across various organizations and roles. Starting in 2001, they worked at the United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs as the Ranking Member Lantos. They then transitioned to the Trans-Atlantic Business Council as the Policy Director, where they managed working groups and developed partnerships. In 2012, they joined Organizing for Action as a Policy & Research Fellow for the 2012 US Presidential Campaign. Following this, they became a Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Transportation, advising on transportation and infrastructure policy. In 2015, they became the Vice President and Chief of Staff at the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, providing guidance to companies in the transportation and technology sectors. In 2018, they became the Director of Global Public Policy at Access Partnership, before joining Eurasia Group in 2020 as the Director of Geopolitics and Technology.
Alexis Serfaty has a Master's degree in International Affairs from Sciences Po. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in History from William & Mary. Alexis also attended Maret School, although the degree and field of study obtained there are unspecified. In addition to their formal education, Alexis has obtained a certification in Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age from Harvard University in October 2020.
