Carlos Ramirez Fuentes

Carlos Ramirez Fuentes is an accomplished professional currently serving as President of the Comision Nacional del Sistema del Ahorro para el Retiro (CONSAR) since January 2013. In addition, Carlos has been the Lead Mexico Analyst for Eurasia Group since October 2010. Previous roles include Chief Communications Officer at PEMEX from January 2007 to August 2009 and at CONSAR from October 2003 to December 2006, as well as Chief Economist at Banorte from May 1998 to April 2001. Carlos holds a Master in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University and a Master in Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, along with dual bachelor's degrees in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and Political Science from UNAM.
