Robert Kahn is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in consulting and research. Currently serving as the Director at Eurasia Group since January 2020, Robert also works as a self-employed Economic Consultant since September 2017. Prior to these roles, Robert held the position of Steven A. Tananbaum Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations from July 2012 to August 2017. Robert Kahn earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1979 and 1984 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of Chicago from 1975 to 1979.
