Bagdat Utegulov

Bagdat Utegulov is the Head of Fixed Income at Eurasian Development Bank since March 2020. Previously, Bagdat worked at The National Bank of Kazakhstan as a Senior Portfolio Manager from June 2014 to September 2019. Before that, Bagdat was an Investment Analyst at the Pension Fund of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan from January 2012 to May 2014. Bagdat holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from KIMEP University and is currently pursuing dual Master's degrees in Global Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and HKUST Business School. Throughout their career, Bagdat has successfully managed multi-billion dollar portfolios, traded FX and derivatives, and provided analytical insights to high-level officials.
