Guido Schlenkenbrock

Guido Schlenkenbrock is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in repo trading, currently serving as the Repo Trader and Head of Fixed Income Financing Europe at Point72 since February 2020. Prior to this role, Guido held various positions at J.P. Morgan from 1999 to 2019, including Executive Director and Government Bond Repo Trader, where responsibilities included trading German and Belgian government bonds and managing balance sheets for optimal returns. Additionally, Guido served as Vice President of Corporate Bond Repo Trading, where a focused repo trading book for covered bonds was developed, and has experience in trade support and management from earlier roles as Associate and Analyst. Guido's career began with an apprenticeship at WestLB and include internships at HypoVereinsbank and Hesto Harnesses. Educational credentials include a Dipl. Kfm. in Banking and Finance from the University of Duisburg-Essen and multiple awards from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
